This show is a behind-the-scenes peek at the people behind the audio book versions of my two novels: Grey and Yarn. First I speak with Steve Feldberg who is Senior Director, Editorial Business Development at Audible.com about what they do and how they select books.
I then speak with the narrators for Grey and Yarn, Macleod Andrews and Mark Boyette, respectively. We get some background on who they are, why they do audiobooks, how long they take, why they can be a blast, and the special challenges of my books.
Also included are a couple clips from the audiobooks!

Hey, Jon, a particularly interesting show.
At the beginning, I knew what the characters in your novels sounded like, and was surprised you would ask – they sound like you!
By the end, they sounded like MacLeod and Mark. Crazy.
How thoughtful they are about their work, I was deeply impressed. And I loved the way they described your books.

Gail,
Glad you enjoyed the show. I was really impressed with the Audible people, from the first email asking for feedback to all the effort the narrators put in.
This has been just as exciting as being published for the first time.
