Professors

Prof. Hao Liu, graduated from East China University of Science and Technology in 2001  and obtained his PhD from the National University of Singapore in 2006. He undertook postdoctoral research in the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (USA). He was a research fellow in the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (Singapore) before he joined Tianjin University of Science and Technology as a principle investigator in 2009. His current research focus is on the study of the genetics and metabolism of industrial microorganisms. Presently, he is a professor of MOE Key Laboratory of Industrial Fermentation Microbiology.

1.Cloning and functional study of important regulatory genes in microbial growth, development, differentiation and metabolism;
2.Reconstruction and regulation of microbial metabolic networks;
3.Fermentation process engineering of fine chemicals and biomedical products.
